They say a picture paints a thousand words, but there isn't just one image that captures the sheer joy of over 200 Fairfax Meadow team members celebrating our 50th anniversary together. So, here are a few that convey the coming together of team members, old and new, since 1974.

The celebrations were held at The Harvester in Pride Park, Derby. A fitting venue as Fairfax Meadow has been supplying Harvester since they launched in the 1980s.

As you would expect, Fairfax Meadow meat was on the menu, and the focus was steaks, ribs and chicken, with a trip to the famous Harvester salad cart, too!

It was a truly special moment when Mr. Gerry Wensley, our original managing director, joined us to celebrate our 50th anniversary. His presence, along with that of our retired team members, including one who worked with Mr. Wensley at the very beginning of Fairfax in London, was a testament to the enduring spirit of our company.

Penny Tomlinson, managing director, shared a few poignant words to mark the grand occasion. Her message was about reflecting on the journey so far and looking to the future.

Huge thanks to Ed, Chris and the team at The Harvester, Pride Park, Derby for making our event extra special.
