The Women In Meat Industry Awards nominations are now open, and Penny Tomlinson, Managing Director at Fairfax Meadow, is up for an award.
The Women In Meat Industry Awards are designed to recognise the vitally important contributions that women make to the meat sector. This unique awards initiative is driven by reader nominations and votes, with an expert judging panel gathering to select the overall Meat Businesswoman of the Year recipient. Other categories in the awards include Craft Butchery, Foodservice, Industry Supplier, Training & Education and more.
We’re delighted to announce that Penny Tomlinson, Managing Director of Fairfax Meadow, has been nominated for the Meat Businesswoman Award – Foodservice (Catering Butcher).
Penny joined Fairfax Meadow in 2002 and became Managing Director in 2012. She has led Fairfax Meadow through challenging and changing times in our industry and has always been proud to be a keen advocate for women across the meat industry. Now part of Hilton Foods, Fairfax Meadow celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2024 and continues to go from strength to strength.
